Well it's almost here - the day we have been waiting for - The Bay to Birdwood classic.
To all those sceptics out there who said we wouldn't make it - I sick my tongue out and blow raspberries blllew......

Despite having 8 weeks out with pneumonia - the Green Genie is in a state to actually drive, not overly pretty - the interior still needs a lot of work - but we made it.

Today saw us have the front window tint replaced after it was deemed too dark by the MRD when we went for a vehicle number inspection - many thanks to the guys at instant windscreen (Christies Beach SA), for squeezing us in and fixing the tint up even though their tint guy rang in sick - bonza job.

An extra special thanks to my cousing in law - Paul and his son Dylan for all the hard grunt work put in to get this beast going - Dylan did a great job fitting all the tyres to the car, engine oil change (any one out there knows this is not a simple event - especially when you also replace the oil filter). Paul for all the hard work yesterday - in the wonderful spring weather that SA is having - an exceptional job on fixing speedo gears on the trans, swapping the "Tardis" SU's and fuel pump so that we not only knew what speed we were doing, but if we have enough fuel in this beast.

To my favourite jag man - Bruce at JagWorks NSW for the awesome deal done on the chrome rims and to Roadstyle tyres (Lonsdale SA) for the bonza white walls (brilliant price) to give the "Green Genie" that extra bling.

The Green Genie - the work continues....
